| 1 cup butter | 1/2 tsp salt |
| 2 cups sugar | 1 tsp grated nutmeg |
| 2 eggs | 1/4 cup milk |
| 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour | 1 tsp vanilla |
| 3 tsp baking powder | |
| Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to sugar/butter mixture. Add vanilla. Roll dough to 1/4 or 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into any desired shape. Place on buttered or greased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly brown at 350º for about 12 to 15 minutes. | |
