Mom's Chili Beans
1 lb hamburger | 2 cans (16 oz) pinto beans |
1 small onion, chopped | 1 pkg chili powder |
1 small green pepper, chopped | 1 (16 oz) can of tomato sauce |
1 (16 oz) can diced tomatoes | 1 pkg cheddar cheese |
Brown hamburger, onion, and green pepper in pan. Transfer to pot and add chili powder, tomato sauce and 2 cans water. Stir till mixed well then add diced tomatoes and pintos. Simmer for an hour. Add more water if too thick. |
