All in all, I am very happy with the way my portfolio
turned out. I’m proud of all the work that I put into the assignments and am
happy that I received good grades on all of them.
My
favorite piece would have to be the Catcher in the Rye Final Project. I
had fun doing the project, since I enjoy music so much. I didn’t mind doing the
project at all since I had a good time looking for music that pertained to the
novel, and really analyzing the words of the song. When I listen to music, I
always find myself really thinking about the meaning of the lyrics. Therefore,
I had no difficulty completing this project.
My
least favorite piece of my portfolio would have to be the definition essay. I
wasn’t as happy with the final draft as I think I should have been, and I
didn’t put as much time into it as I did my other works. I also didn’t receive
the grade I would have liked to have gotten because I didn’t elaborate and
detail the essay enough. It was also the hardest work of the semester for me
since it had to be short and simple, and I usually like to make my works a
little bit longer than one page.
Besides
the definition essay, I really like my other works, which is good, since I don’t
think you should hand in something you don’t personally feel is a high-quality
work. I hope whoever reads this portfolio enjoys it as much as I enjoyed
working on it.
