Cyber Spanish is a second language Web_based learning tool for a collaborative environment. This teaching and learning tool can be adapted to any language and developed to encompass various levels of  a curriculum.  This system is designed to assist teachers in implementing an integrated curriculum content with the content obtained through the Information and Communication Technologies tools. The language program under this tool will provide:

  • grammar (in a range of contents)
  • class activities
  • tasks for completion
  • use of Internet communication technology
  • a system for collaborative learning
  • socio-cultural and linguistic elements
  • extra information for the teacher
Cyber Spanish as second language Web_based learning tool for a collaborative environment is not intended to replace the teacher. On the contrary it requires intimate involvement of the teacher working in a new role more as a facilitator. This will involve supporting an environment for collaboration, bringing to the classroom situation a variety of new contents, facilitating the provision of resources to make the best use of the existing technology and the modification of instructional material in line with changes in the syllabus.
