This database is made in Microsoft Access. Only those with Microsoft Access will be able to use it. Access is part of the Microsoft Office Professional Package. See more about getting the Microsoft Access program at http://www.microsoft.com

Some Features of the database are

  • It allows you to track collectors and their addresses, email address, wants, and serial numbers of the postcards you have traded them (so you don't send duplicates) and the amount sent and received and the date they sent you the postcards (or you can use it for when you last sent them postcards).
  • Makes a report to show you the States you have collected
  • Makes a report to show you the Countries you collected
  • Allows you to track collectors that you are in the process of trading with.

A user shares their success with my database:

I use sparkles postcard database that I downloaded from her site--it is

great. You can keep all the info on each person you have traded with

including.... their address, preferences, how many you have sent them--and

received, the numbers from the back of the postcard (helps to prevent

sending duplicates). It has been a lifesaver for me and the best thing

about it--it is so easy to use (take it from a computer-dummy like me) and

all it takes is a few minutes to put the info in or update it, believe me I

find it's well worth it. (thanks sparkles :-) )
