MINUTES OF MEETING:

1. Call to order at 8:00 p.m. by Joy Yuzon

2. Opening Prayer by Dondi Nakar - Catan

3. Welcome CARMELA PAJARILLO, who also lives in Magallanes Village.

4. Review of February 11 meeting, everyone approved, seconded by Joy Yuzon.

5. Presentation of "ONCE ON THIS ISLAND" by Bel Castro

a) This play was originally scheduled for 13 May, 05 according to Bel she was able to move play date to 21 May 05, Sat, 8pm. Afterwards she enumerated the cast members such as Menchu Lauchengco - Yulo, Bart Guingona, etc. and the play will be shown at RCBC Theatre which has a seating capacity of 500 seats.

b) Prices for the play start from P900.00; P1,200.00; P1,500.00.

c) The following are important dates to remember:

Next week 21 MARCH 2005 - initial payment of P20,000.00 to be paid to AAI (ACTOR'S ACTORS INC.) Cecile Ventura and Joy Yuzon will sign the contract on our behalf. on 21 APRIL 2005 we will pay AAI the down payment of P120,000.00. For easy selling of tickets we can get Ticketworld for a 10% handling fee. 60% - 70% tickets will be moved by us.

d) Sources of Income: sponsorship and ticket sales. Ticket sales capital is at Php 250,000.00, with a 90% ROI.

e) Side Event: VIP TREATMENT for SPCM NUNS. They will be invited & will need a bus ride to Makati to RCBC Theatre, be escorted and provided with snacks too.

f) Advertising may be done thru Community Bulletin boards and putting out an AD on

The VILLAGE VOICE, a newsletter being circulated in areas like Magallanes, Corinthian

Garden, Acropolis, Valle Verde 1 - 6, etc.

e) DETAILS FOR ONCE ON THIS ISLAND – Synopsis, Sponsorship Packages, Ticket Prices and Seating Plan to be sent to all immediately. 

6. . ALUMNI BOARD REPORT by Estela Marie Tanchoco. According to her the BOARD

still has issues to resolve and will update us again on our next meeting on 8 APRIL 2005.

7. COMMITTEE REPORTS:

a) UPDATE & ASSIGNMENT OF MEMBERHIP COMMITTEE REPS

Mica Calica- Kerkdijk so far no other additions except for Carmela Pajaillo. Mica will be leaving us tomorrow 12 March 2005 to be with her family in Holland and will be back 6 months after. She has assigned Carmela Pajarillo and Sharon Reyes to be in-charge of the MEMBERSHIP COMMITEE.

b) FINANCE: From Cecile Ventura - requesting help in collections. Need volunteers to call and remind batchmates to contribute membership dues to the batch.

Once again Cecile Ventura is calling for everyone who has not given the P4,000.00 (or any amount you wish) to please give their contribution as early as possible since we will be putting out money next Monday, 21 March 2005. Everything being done should properly be documented. When money is released by Cecile Ventura, a voucher should be signed by any of the following three: Finina Gatchalian de- Jesus, Bing Santos- Padilla or Joy Yuzon.

 c) NORTH SECTOR COMITTEE REPORT by Dondi Nakar - Catan

* "Little Mermaid" by Trumpets - SM Megamall play date now on September , tickets vary from P300.00 to P500.00, capital P200,000.00, For further research.

* Also on 21 May 2005, MORNING ACTIVITY, SM NORTH EDSA, seminar entitled "INNER BEAUTY CONFERENCE 2005 BAZAAR" We can also participate if we get a booth for ourselves for only P600.00. For the booth we can have as participants Grace Fojas (AVON

products), Anna Villa (designer watches) and if there are other participants who wish to join please let Dondi Nakar - Catan know beforehand. Deadline for registration is on 30 April 2005.

Dondi has generously paid for the bazaar stall/rent so that the batch will not have to pull out money from its funds. THANK YOU DONDI!!!

d) SOUTH SECTOR:  Ochie Buenavista - Pacifico - head

* For the calendar giveaways we will have 2 sets of calendar giveaways since Paola Luz and April Son have different themes. Paola's work is mostly on Black and White while April takes pictures of the commercial artists. As of this writing, Suebee already has in her possession the photos of Paola which Mr. & Mrs. Arturo Luz have so graciously loaned us.

OTHERS: Dr. Sharon Reyes had an announcement that on the 22nd of March 2005, she will be offering free bone density at her clinic. She afterwards had one more announcement, she’s now not only DR. SHARON but also CAPT. SHARON!!! Yes, Sharon has volunteered & trained and is now a commissioned officer of the Philippine Army!!! We salute you Capt. Sharon Reyes!!!
