NORTH YORK GLADIATORS

The Hockey Association for the developmentally challenged (HADC) was established in 1995.  Our home arena is the Gord Irene Risk Arena located 2650 Finch Ave. in North York (Toronto) Ontario.  Hockey is a game and games are meant to be fun.  The HADC believes that every person especially our youth, has the right to enjoy life to the fullest, No matter what his disability may be.  Our Hockey program provides this opportunity as well as teaching valuable life skills such as discipline, sportsmanship, sharing and tolerance.  We at the HADC believe that having fun and providing fun and providing a structured hockey program go hand in hand.  All our players have either a mental or physical disability, nevertheless, it is not their disability that is our focus but their abilities, enthusiasm and desire to succeed.  There is no age, ability or gender restriction to our program and it is geared to individual needs.  Our program begins from October to March. For more details visit our web site.
