These pages contain summaries of work which I am presently doing in and around Miles City, Montana. Most of this effort is concentrated on the lands of the USDA's (Agricultural Research Services) facility at Fort Keogh. (Livestock and Range Research Laboratory) where Rod Heitschmidt, Research Leader, has been kind enough to offer me access to this amazing and vast cross section of eastern Montana topography.
The following links are to provisional (draft, if you will) sections of this work. A brief description of procedures, sites, and results-to-date are presented and will be updated (generally) on a monthly basis. Also included is a copy of an e-mail response from Mike Ivie, Department of Entomology, State University of Montana, Bozeman confirming my difficulties in locating spider species records for the area.
