| So now Angel is too lazy to make the girls go mad. I'm beginning to believe, if I don't already, that Spike is right about Angel being lame; that Spike, dear William, was right all along. When Dru sired Spike she created her savior. When I sired Angelus I created my own damnation. Angel tried so hard to redeem (rolling my eyes here), so very hard to escape his dark and nasty past yet he surrounds himself in it. First with Buffy, now with Fred. The girl is everything innocent, just like Dru was before she became family. Watching this girl Fred was almost sickening, and if I really wanted to I could pity the girl for looking up to him the way she does, as her knight, because she doesn't know any of it, not the way Buffy knows it, not the way I know it and keep learning it due to my own weakness, but maybe, if there is a god, she'll be safe from it, but then that wouldn't be half as fun, would it? |
