How to get to Pittodrie Stadium

Car

Travel Info On entering Aberdeen on the A90. go straight through the roundabout at the Bridge of Dee onto Great Southern Road. Turn left at the next roundabout onto King George VI bridge then turn immediately right onto Riverside Drive. Continue straight through the next roundabout onto North Esplanade West. At the next roundabout, turn left on to Market Street. Continue along Market Street to the traffic lights at the junction with Guild Street. Turn right at the traffic lights onto Trinity Quay. Take the left hand for and continue along Virginia Street . At the traffic lights, turn left onto Commerce Street and continue towards another roundabout. Turn right onto Beach Boulevard. Parking is available (currently free of charge) on Beach Boulevard, Links road, Beach Esplanade and at the cinema & restaurants. Allow for approximately 15 to 20 minutes walk to the stadium. Alternatively, turn left at the first roundabout you come to then turn right at the next roundabout onto Holburn Street. Continue along Holburn Street to the very end and turn right onto Union Street. Continue to the end of Union Street and follow the road left onto King Street. Pittodrie Stadium is approximately half a mile along King Street on the right hand side. Limited parking may be available in the surrounding streets. Alternatively, take the first left off of King Street onto West North Street where you will find a multi story car park across from Safeway. Parking is approximately £2.50 for a four hour stay.

Public Transport

Trains

On exiting the train station onto Guild Street, cross to the entrance to the Trinity Centre. Continue straight though the centre on to Union Street where buses (see below) can be caught to take you to the Stadium. To get there on foot (allow at least 30 minutes), turn right onto Guild Street and continue straight ahead onto Virgina Street. On coming to the roundabout at the top of Beach Boulevard, cross Beach Boulevard and continue down Park Street. At a mini roundabout, take the right hand road (Park Road) follow this street (across Urquhart Road) and this will take you to the Stadium. For the home end, follow the alternative directions when you get onto Union Street.

Buses

All buses to Pittodrie can be caught on Union Street. The number 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 15 will take you along Union Street and King Street (for the home end). Get off at the first stop past Merkland Road at the cemetary. For away fans, the numbers 6 and 11 will take you past the Stadium at the away end of the ground on Park Road. All buses should cost approximately 95 p for adults. Make sure you catch the buses on the far side of Union Street
