Travel Info

From North:

Head south, on your normal route into Edinburgh (M9/M90, A8, etc.). Drivers who use the M90 should turn right at the Barnton roundabout and head up Maybury road to the Maybury Casino. Turn left at the traffic lights onto the A8 (Glasgow road). Drivers from the A8 will reach the Casino (on your left) after the Gogar roundabout (the one with the fly under). Follow this road (it changes to St Johns road then to Corstorphine road) all the way into the Roseburn junction - past the Zoo on your left and Murrayfield Stadium on your right. Roseburn is only about 400 yards after you pass Murrayfield stadium. Turn right into Roseburn Street / Russell road where you will be directed by stewards or police.

From West:

Head east, on your normal route into Edinburgh (M8, A71, etc.). The end of the M8 will bring you to the Hermiston roundabout. You now have a choice - coach drivers should turn left and head for the Gogar roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout and you will be on the A8 (Glasgow road) - follow the directions as above.

From South:

Head north on your main route into Edinburgh. Head for the City Bypass (A720) as this will be quicker than going through the town centre. Follow the signs for the Airport. Leave the bypass at the Calder junction (just before the Hermiston Gate / M8 junction) and turn right at the roundabout onto Calder road. Follow this road all the way into Gorgie.

Trains

Edinburgh is very well serviced from all over the country. Tynecastle Stadium is only a 15-20 minute walk from Haymarket station. Alternatively, a large selection of buses are available close to the station. Take a bus from Dalry road directly into Gorgie road or from outside the station along Corstorphine road to Roseburn.

Buses

There are numerous buses from the town centre and the outskirts of Edinburgh. Frequency during the day is very good. Fans should board buses bound for Gorgie road or Corstorphine.
