IBROX STADIUM

Stadium Info

Ground Name: Ibrox Stadium

Capacity: 50, 467 (all-seater)

Pitch: The pitch is traditionally the largest in Scotland but in recent years it has been subject to changes allowed within the rules of the game. At present it stands at 115x78 yards.

Ticket Info

The capacity of the ground is 50,467 but with over 40,000 season ticket holders generally only tickets for the Broomloan Road stand are available. For European nights when not all season ticket holders are using their seats or games which have a very high demand unsold season ticket seats can also be made available in most of the other areas of the ground. If you want to go to a Celtic game there's virtually no chance unless you get a loan of someone's season book. Hearts and Aberdeen games are normally also sold out pretty quickly but if you plan in advance you should get into most games no problem

Travel Info

Car

Come off the M8 at Junction 23. Be careful where you park as you will be towed away from various streets around the ground - it can be confusing as well due to the fact that some streets (Copland Road for example) can be parked on one side of the street during matches but you'll be towed if parked on the opposite side - check the yellow notices on the street lamps.

The Underground

This is the best way for visitors to get to The Stadium - Ibrox underground station is right beside the ground. If you want a drink beforehand get off at Cessnock as there are a lot of pubs around that one.

Bus

Edmiston Drive and Paisley Road West are main arterial routes within the city so if you take Bus. Nos. 4, 9A, 23, 23A, 52, 53, 53A, 54A, 54B, 65, 89, and 91 you'll either pass right by the Stadium or will be able to see it as you approach - ask the drive to let you know what's the best stop (and hope he's not a Celtic fan!)
