Workplace Startle

I work at a small shop in a local mall. Today I was working with one of my coworkers, a very cute girl around the age of 16. She's about 5'4" with short blondish/brown hair and clear blue eyes along with your cute typical teenage body. I had my eye on her cute behind today. She was wearing a pair of jean shorts, firm but not too tight and they perfectly shaped her bottom. Normally I hadn't given her butt a second look, but for some reason today I had which makes the upcoming events all the more startling. I was talking to her about school among other things, with no customers we had nothing better to do than talk. We talked for quite awhile about school when she brought up the fact she skipped the day before. I made a joke about her mom possibly finding out, and she said she already knew but didn't really get in trouble for it. We eventually slid into the topic of what she was going to do after work. I tried to get her to go see a movie at the theater built into the mall and she said she shouldn't. After a bit of razing about skipping school and not wanting to break curfew a little bit to see a movie she gave me a startling reply. To quote exact words "Honest, I would if I hadn't skipped school yesterday, but because of that if I break curfew tonight my mom is gonna put me over her knee." I was in the process of taking a drink of soda and almost spit it all over the counter. I asked her if she was serious and her reply was, "Believe me, I've gotten my spanked for alot less lately."

I was so stunned and at a loss for words that she changed the subject and was well on her way into another discussion before I could focus enough to reply. At that point it was to late to bring the subject up again without it seeming odd, but you can trust that I can't wait until I work with her again to try and get a bit more info!
