| ANTs Software Inc. is engaged in the development and marketing of a
proprietary software technology, the ANTs technolgoy, which is intended to
significantly improve the speed at which computers can manipulate data.
Its operations consist of research and development of the ANTs technology.
The ANTs Concurrency Engine (ACE), which utilized the ANTs technology, is
comprised of a unique data processing engine coupled with lock-free data
structures, and is well suited for incorporation in new and existing
platforms and applications where contention would traditionally inhibit
performance. These are characterized by new data items being added at a
high rate and/or data items being modified at a high rate, as well as
retrieval or search operations while items are added or modified. |
