What did he say?

A Little About Old Bill!
ooh more blood

Yeah! What did he say?

I Thought I'd ask Bill A Few Personal Questions To Help Us Understand Him A Little More!

As If You Couldn't Notice My Questions are In This Sissy Pink

And Bill's Answers Are *EXACTLY THE WAY HE SENT THEM* In This Manly White!

1. When you have free time what types of films do you enjoy? (any favorite movies, directors, even better Actors or Actresses)

"hmmm, well, when I have free time, precious seldom with two daughters, I love foreign movies by the masters. Lately I've been watching the films of Satyajit Ray (the "Apu" trilogy, "Distant Thunder"), Kurosawa ("Rashomon," "Seven Samurai," "Throne of Blood"), Fassbinder ("Lola," "The Stationmaster's Wife," "Veronica Voss"), and Werner Herzog ("Aguirre, Wrath of God" and "Fitzcarraldo"- I love Klaus Kinski!). I'm also enjoting the old movies of Buster Keaton ("The General" and "The Boat"), Tod Browning ("Dracula," "The Unknown," "West of Zanzibar"- I love Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney, too!) and Charlie Chaplin ("City Lights," "Modern times," "The GoldRush"). I also just watched "Spider Baby" -which I loved- because I just worked with Sid Haig on Rob Zombie's "House of 1000 Corpses." "

2. Same scenario as above! What types of music do you enjoy? (any favorite songs, bands, singers)

"P.J. Harvey, Led Zeppelin, Steve Earle, Leadbelly, Captain Beefheart, Wire, and of course, the Cornbugs!"

3. Who was the last performer you saw in concert?

"The last performance I saw was P.J. Harvey just a week ago at the Viper Room on the sunset Strip here in LA. I was there for a buddy's birthday party, and when he casually announced that P.J. was playing a secret little club date upstairs, I almost choked on my ice! I bolted up & caught her sexy encore. Now that's my sweetmeat!"

4. Would you enjoy being a regular on a TV Series if given the chance? If so what show would you like to be a part of? (example BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER or ANGEL) (I would love to see you on the show CHARMED myself!)

"Would I like to do a TV series? It's a lot of work and a lot of money. Let's see, I'd like to do Sopranos, Oz, X-files, or maybe some cooking show where I could bake up a few people."

5. Boxer’s or Briefs? (a little something for the lust crazed Female fans of MOSE!)

"Boxers, when I wear 'em at all."

6. If given the chance would you take THE MOSE BROTHERS BAND on tour?

"Moseley Brothers reunion? Well, we kinda drifted apart over the years. One Moseley Brother lives in Bozeman, montana; the other one's in Chicago working for TWA. The younger one ain't talking to me anymore, and the older one's got a wife and house payments, so I don't think he'll give it all up for the song of the open road. You never know...Anyway, I love my brothers, and the music kept us all alive."

7. What do you think of the sequels to TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE? (meaning of course parts 3 and 4)

"You know, I've never seen Chainsaw 3 or 4. They never even called me in, so fuck 'em!"

8. To put the subject to rest! Is NUBBINS actually the corpse of THE HITCHIKER?

"Yes, it's official. Nubbins (aka the muppet) IS the mummified remains of the dear departed Hitchhiker (Ed Neal) from Saw 1. Ed asked for too much money to reprise his role, so Cannon Films got a dummy instead."

9. Do we possibly see a sequel to HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES?

"Sequel to House of 1000 Corpses? I sure as hell hope so! My kids are getting expensive, and I'd love to keep bashing skulls."

10. How does it feel to be a father and a horror ICON? (some say these two don’t mix very well)

"Do being a father and a horro icon mix? Well, one night my older daughter, Jane, woke crying from a nightmare. I asked her what the matter was; she told me she'd been frightened by Candyman. "Candyman?!" I snorted. "Sweetie, your father is Choptop, and Choptop kicks Candyman's ass!" She smiled & went right back to sleep. By the way, I'm a friend of Tony todd's, and he could kick my ass with his eyes closed, but don't tell my kid that. So being a movie monster has its benefits. But in head-to-head confrontations with my now-teenager, she always wins."

11. What do the CHAINSAWETTES think of you’re movies?

"What do my kids think of my movies? The older one yawns at them, totally unimpressed; the younger one's only two, so she has the whole catalogue ahead of her."

12. Was there ever a movie role you tried out for and didn’t get that you wish you had?

"Best job I didn't get? I had what felt like my best audition for one of the German nihilists in "The big Lebowski." I had the Coen Brothers rolling on the floor, then I never heard from them again. Flea, from the Chili Peppers, got the part. His daughter and mine are best friends, so that eased the sting somewhat."

13. Did you ever turn down a role that you regret giving up?

"Did I regret turning down a role? I haven't yet enjoyed that luxury!"

14. Sammy Hagar or David Lee Roth?

"Sammy Hagar vs David Lee roth? David Lee (before he went loopy)."

15. Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera?

"Christina A. vs Britney? Britney hands down. She's a friend to actors and a tough little muffin."
