Name of cake: Strawberry Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients:
(A)
250g sponge mix flour
5 eggs
3 tbsps water
(3 tbsps corn oil)
(B) Filling
600g strawberry ice cream
(C) Coating
400g fresh cream, whisked
1 tsp strawberry paste
Methods:
1) Beat (A) until fluffy, slowly stir in corn oil.
2) Pour batter into 8" cake tin, bake at 150 degree celsius for 45 minutes. Remove and leave to cool.
3) Cut into 2 horizontal layers and sandwich with (B).
4) Keep in freezer overnight, coat cake with (C) and serve.
Tip: The faster you make the cake, the better, otherwise the ice cream will melt. Choose any ice cream flavour you like.
