Latest News   -- The Golden Ram Band participated in the Smokey Mountain National Music Festival in Gatlinburg, Tennessee recently, and recieved many awards. The Jazz Ensemble placed 1st out of seven competing groups with a superior rating. The Symphonic Concert Band received 1st place out of six groups with a superior rating. And the Parade Band, in their new uniforms, received 1st place and was named Grand Champion out of the 12 competing bands, recieving a Superior rating from all five judges. Matt Claypotch, alto saxophone, Andy Lynn, trombone, Kate Hudson, flute, and Amanda Cover, clarinet all received a "Certificate of Excellence" for outstanding individual performance.
