Search and Rescue
Search and Rescue in the Civil Air Patrol is one of the most exciting and active youth Emergency programs. Cadets can be trained in Emergency Services in less then 6 hours and be ready to participate in search and rescue missions. Civil Air Patrol offers more advanced courses, such as Ground Search and Rescue. In Ground Search Rescue school you'll learn how to find a missing person on land and oreint yourself in the field. Also, the Ranger school is the best place for cadets to learn about Search and Rescue.        Search and Rescue missions are not limited to cadets.They also are made up of senior members. A search and rescue mission is usually coupled with State and Local Missing Persons organizations as well as Disaster Relief Organizations.
