Anna Marie's Poems

        (Loving you forever...)

        Roses are red,
        Violets are blue,
        Sugar is sweet
        And so are you.
        Roses may be red,
        Violets may be blue,
        But there ain’t no maybe
‘bout what I think of you.
        The Rose is red,
        The Violet is blue,
        The Pink is pretty
        And so are you.
If I where a head of lettucce,
        I’d cut myself in,
I’d give my friend the leaves
But save the heart for you.
        A ring is round
        And has no end.
        So is my love
        For you my friend.
        When twilight drops her curtain
And pins it with a star,
        Remember I’m your true friend
        No matter where you are.
        Not like the roes
        Shall our friendship wither,
But like the evergreen live forever.
When you are sick and going to die
Call me up and I will cry!!!.
        I like coffee,
        I like tea,
        I like you
        And you like me.
I love you, I love you,
        With my heart and soul.
        If I had a doughnut
        I’d give you the hole.
I love you, I love you, I love you,
So well if I had a peanut
        I’d give you the shell.
I love you, I love you, I love you, I do!
        But don’t get excited,
        I love monkeys too
        (hehehehe).
        Pigs love pumkins,
        Cows love squash,
        I love you I do,
        By gosh (it is true!).
Sure as the grass grows around the stump,
You are my darling sugar lump!!!!!
I climbed up the door and shut the stairs,
I said my shoes, and took off my prayers,
I shut off the bed and climbed in the light,
All because you kissed me goodnight!
You can fall from the mountains,
        You can fall from above,
But the best way to fall
        Is to fall in love.
My love for you shall never fail,
As long as the pussy, Has a tail
And if that tail is cut in two,
That won’t stop me from loving you!
Sitting by a stream I had a dream.
        I dreamed I was a little trout,
And some fine fellow (you) fished me out.
If you love me as I love you,
No knife can cut our love in two.
A kiss is a germ or so its been stated,
But kiss me quick I am vaccinated.
        I love you once,
        I love you twice,
I love you better than cats love mice!!!
        Look not for beauty,
        Nor whiteness of skin,
But look for the heart that is loyal within.
Beauty may fade and skin grow old
But the heart that is loyal will never grow cold.
        Think of a fly,
        Think of a flea,
When something tickles you think of me!.
