Tory Schutte #16 Monroe WI 2000

Here's a 74 Buick Lesabre from North Dakota. The frame was almost rust free, very solid car.

I'm in the Navy and was on my way to become a recuiter in Dubuque Iowa, so I picked the Navy theme for my car this year.

I was in this heat with a few of our local rivals and Rick Harrington(K2) in the fore ground.

Here I'm laying a nice corner shot on one of the Midnight Maniacs. Notice my rear tires going flat.

I popped both my rear tires and was unable to move, I even attempted to piss off my competitors by flipping them off, in hopes they would hit me free. No luck they left me there spinning my tires.

I put some better tires on the rear and cut some fenders away and I was ready for the night heats. A few hits into it, I lost my steering and just started hitting whatever I could and still managed to take a few people out. I eventually lost my distributor and got third which is a feature spot but no trophy or money.>br>

The car was toast after my heat and had no steering, so I used Ryan's car for the feature. Thanks Bro!!!

Ryan Schutte #17 Monroe WI 2000

This is his 75 Pontiac ready for Stoughton 2000.

Got hung on a bumper and got finished 3rd in the feature. Through some jackass scoring system(some fat guy w/ clipboard) Stoughton uses he ended up 6th. If you ever run there good luck!

But as you can see his wagon was only scratched and he laid some heavy shots there, it just never bent.

He repainted it for Monroe but that's about it.

Popped a few tires in the feature and ended up dropping the driveshaft when the tranny shifted.

This is a super clean 76 Impala from KY, he robbed the front clip for another wagon and ran a Pontiac clip on this car.

Here he's battling it out with Mike Mallery(purple Impala) and Jeff Schmidt(brown wagon)

Ended up so hot he could barely move just lost all it's power, he got third which is a feature spot but no money or trophy. Tory ran this car in the feature after this.

The backend was sky high but they pushed it down at the track with a loader.

The front bumper horns just curled right up.

What finally killed Tory was Paul Heines bumper shock came up through the shifter hole and wouldn't allow any shifting or pumping of the gas. Never had this happen before.

Russ Schutte #4 Monroe WI 2000

This is a 72 Buick Centurian.

This car was also from KY, very solid.

This awesome looking paint job was done by Cindy and Vicki.

The back frame kinked into the back tires as you can see here.

Took too long to restart in the day heats after drenching the distributor. Got a feature spot at night and during the feature couldn't back up anymore.

Gus Schutte #3B Monroe WI 2000

This is a 76 Olds 98. We copied the STP car and changed it to SRT. It was originally ran at Stoughton but puked a tranny in the feature. It then ran Warren IL and dropped a driveshaft, I don't have any after shots yet because it really hasn't bent yet.

This a rusty 7? Pontiac Parisiene.

It ran few heats but couldn't get a full run out of it. Bad switches, driveshaft etc...

This is a 88 Honda Accord. Car ran great but lost drive so it was perfect for demo'ing.

Gus drove like a mad man and trashed the assend. His back wheels were off the ground. Then he turned around and bust his front tie rod and CV joint. The car lasted a long time and finished around 6th.

Pat Schutte #11 Monroe WI 2000

This was a very clean 75 Pontiac Parseinne from KY.

As you can see he drew a heat with 4 of our competitiors all with wagons. He got caught against the wall and they beat him silly. He's switches/wires broke so he had to hold his wires together and then his shifter fell off. He still won the heat despite some major teaming up, not that we have any room to complain about that.

It still had a good radiator/support but was soooo twisted we junked it.

Here's a super clean 72 Chevy Kingswood.

Had motor problems all day and lost the tranny in the feature but still has plenty left and we'll run it again next year.
