School Wide Standards

 

The following expectations apply at all times in all parts of our school.

At all times:

• No hats, headcoverings, bandanas, sweatbands,or wallet chains.
• No coats/outerwear in the building.
• Follow the dress code.
• Book bags/Backpacks will be stored in lockers during the day.
• NO GUM.
• No food or drink is to be consumed in the halls.
• Respect personal and school property in and out of school.
• Always have your SSIMS plannner with a signed pass when out of your classroom.
• BE ON TIME TO CLASSES.
• Use appropriate language and demonstrate appropriate behavior at all times.
• Always represent Silver Spring International Middle School in a positive manner.

• Be prepared, ready to begin, when class starts.
• Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
• Stay seated (unless granted permission by your teacher).
• Show respect for staff and other students' rights and property.
• Candy, food, and beverages are not allowed in the classroom without the permission of the teacher
