1 Cup butter softened 6 peeled garlic cloves minced 2 teaspoons each: dry parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme 1 teaspoon each: salt and ground black pepper 1 Tablespoon lemon juice Mix all the above. rub on your turkey before baking. Sit back and listen to the praise-I do!
Grilled Salmon with Lemon-Lime Marinade
1/2 cup lemon juice 1/2 cup lime juice 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon bround black pepper 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 4 (8 oz) salmon filets 4 Tablespoons butter Thoroughly mix lemon & lime juice with oil, sugar, pepper and salt. Pour into a nonreactive, shallow dish and marinate salmon filets on both sides for a total of 10 minutes. Place on a hot grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, basting each side once with the marinade. Remove when filets are firm to the touch and beginning to flake if you like them medium-rare. I prefer mine well done. I have also used this recipe and simmered my filets in a skillet on top of the stove. It changes the flavor but it is still good. |
