Midshipman Summer Cruise is an opportunity for the submarine service to put its best foot forward and hopefully recruit some of the best that the academy and this nations colleges can produce. During the summer of 95 we had several join us during our deployment work-ups. Not the easiest time in the year to see submarine ops, but they left with a realistic understanding of what we do. I never heard, did any of you guys ever go submarines!
