Fade To Grey

Fade To Grey

The heavens tremble
At the forgotten memory
Of sunlight, shining from
The pale blue moon

Our guardian angels
Bleed, and our senses
Crumble to dust.
Shadow warps reality
To fade to grey.

No more colours light
Our morning star.
Long lost is our creed of grace,
Forgotten like the smiling face.
We walk and wonder,
To just exist

No life lives,
No death takes it.
We mix the ingredients
And under our blackened sky
We exist.

No thought, no feeling,
No traces of past glory
Just screams of an age old.
Clouds tear the sky,
The fabric of feeling ripping
Dulling your mind.

Ashes fall from the sky,
Like black snow, and blow
In a breathless wind.
We shatter,
Relived by no stories
We fade. Fade out,
Through the tide of time.
Longing to feel nothing,
We fade…
