Hello my friend
Seems like only yesterday
We would laugh together
And it seems like only yesterday
I could hear your voice.
My memories stretch
And my heart beats skips
The spectre in my mind…
The whisper in my thoughts
They shall see you once again
Yet again, I journey
But still you sit and bleed
You fly away, to the scorched sky
My eyes can’t follow you there.
Your don’t extend your hand
But I grab it all the same
Your shell can’t stop me,
I still pull you back.
No burning ship will set sail tonight
Your hand reaches mine,
And you fall back into yesterday
And now maybe, we can laugh again.
