Swept away,
We find the echoes of your journey.
Though now we wonder in dark streets,
Without you, carving our misery
Into the flesh of the city,
We still have our memories
To bring back your beautiful cast of characters.
It is but a show now,
Some relived sorrowfully by a tear.
Some relived joyfully in our hearts.
But however our salvation comes,
We now that although yours is lost,
It is never unreachable.
And when you,
Told your kids you love them.
With a smile and a glint in your eye,
Do you think they shall forget that?
It is engraved in their minds
And shall be carried with them,
Through their lives.
Through thick and thin, the smile of their father,
Shall get them through.
When you’re sitting up there,
Do not think you’ve lost it all.
We carry little pieces within all of us,
And some shall sprout to dreaming.
And always, I’m so sorry,
But happy that your have left a legacy,
Embedding deep without our hearts.
Go and take rest now.
We shall flutter our wings for you.
