Kensuke Aida
Sadly enough Kensuke is one of my favorite characters in the series. Don't ask me why he is. He just is.
Kensuke is one of Shinji's friends from school. Together he, Shinji, and Touji are collectively called the 'the three stooges' by their classmates. He is obsessed with the Evas and desperately wants to pilot one (little does he know he has always been a potential pilot). He like many of the others in his class, has no mother. His father works for NERV, but it never says in what devision. He feels slightly depressed that both Shinji and Touji become pilots. He is a fan of warfare in general and is excited by the arrival of the angels. Overall he seems to be a normal teenager , maybe a little more perceptive than others, but over all normal.
