| Partnership Program |
| The Partnership Program is our educational component of our organization. At no cost to the group, we provide information on schizophrenia which includes a presentation from a professional, family member and a consumer (someone with the illness). The presentation takes 1-2 hours depending on YOUR time line. |
| How long is the presentation? It can be as short as 45 minutes and as long as 2 hours, depending on how much time you allow. The more time we have, the more time there is for questions following the presentation. |
| How do I request a presentation? You can phone the Chapter during regular business hours (8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.). If there is no one available to take your call, please leave a message on our voice mail and we will get back to you quickly. 403-327-4305 |
| When do we host the presentations? We are very flexible and can usually accommodate any time you request both during the day and evenings. |
| What do we need to supply for the presentation? We use overheads during our presentation. If you have a projector, great! If not, we have a small portable one we can bring along. |
| Who do we present to? We have presented to as few as two people and to as many as 200. No group is too small or too large for us! We have presented to service groups, churches, schools classes, and would be happy to present to anyone! We travel throughout the Chinook Health Region which encompasses a large portion of Southern Alberta. If you are not in our area, we can find a Chapter willing to make a presentation to you. |
| How often do you make presentations? Our goal is to have 40 presentations per year. We would like to exceed this goal when possible. |
