Two souls trapped under one roof.
Day and Night they were...
Over the same dents shuffled their feet,
yet their paths so rarely crossed.
Day's passion flared, but the brilliance had a croaking voice.
Night's silence reigned, and the tranquility lake slowly froze.
At that odd moment when Night met Day,
Colors of the rainbow flooded the sky
Too soon Day departed, and darkness covered Night.
At that instant when Day saw Night,
Nature's symphony rang through the world
Too soon Night departed, and anger consumed Day.
Slowly Day's splendor faded.
Bit by bit Night died in the cold.
No one saw those stains on the roof top,
just as no one heard their tears from heaven.
