No More
No no more moments of happiness shall I pray
For that volley that sudden fall from grace
Which follows inevitably as fate shall betray
I who is falling now and can never again face
That pain and its spikes left for I to embrace
Oh love no more this wayward heart of mine
For what lover has ever cared for frail thee
As to protect to heal to hold by tender design
And while bliss of others many nights shall be
Mine passes brightly with an eclipse's brevity
