Actually, the title says it all ^_^

‘I love you Chakotay. Funny, how strange it sounds, saying it out loud, as if the words became true, acknowledged, for the first time. But I do, I really do, I love you so much, my heart aches every time I see you, see but not allowed to touch. Touch you, yes, but only as a friend, not the intimate touch of a lover. How jealous I am, thinking of those with that privilege, that lying Seska – she didn’t deserve you! – and unnamed women of your past. Thinking of their hands on your skin… your lips kissing them… do you have any idea how much it hurts?
‘No, how can you possibly know.
‘How can you know what it’s like, being jealous every time a woman, or man for that matter, as much as looks at you! And why would they not? Because you are truly beautiful Chakotay.
‘Why am I telling you this? I do not know, perhaps I thought the pain would go away, leaving with the words, flowing out of my body.
      ‘I was wrong.’
      Chakotay just stared at her.

The End

Yes, it was short, I know. But, well, I wanted to write something where it was Janeway confessing her love, not the other way around, and it was written in the middle of the night. However, even though it’s short, I rather like it.

And, yes, the title is in Latin. Know what it means?
