The policies of St. Francis Xavier School are formulated by the School Board and implemented by the Principal. The Board consists of six elected representatives along with the vice-president of the Home and School Association. The Board representatives are elected for three-year terms by the parish. Regular meetings of the Board are held on the first Tuesday of each month in the Parish meeting room. All meetings are open to parishioners, but visitors may address the Board only after the Principal and/or Board President determines that the topic is appropriate for Board consideration. A meeting agenda is prepared one week prior to the Board meeting.

The Home and School Association meets four times a year in St. Francis Xavier Hall on the third Tuesday of September, November, February, and April. Timely issues in education are usually addressed by a guest speaker. Fund-raising activities are also sponsored by this organization. Parental support and cooperation are greatly needed. Prior to the meetings an executive meeting of the officers is held. Suggestions for the agenda must be submitted to the principal or Home and School president in advance of the executive meeting. This summer the Home and School sponsored a committee that worked very hard for our playground. Thank you VERY much from all the students.
Scrip Program
St. Francis Xavier is participating in the scrip program to raise money at no expense or door to door selling for our school. The Home and School sells scrip from several different locations. Wal-Mart & Gerbes along with several specialty places. There will be order forms going home twice a month with the oldest child. If you have questions please contact Mary Lou Katnik and Sharon Twehous. :-)
