One little word, one little phrase,
And all the memories of happier days
Come flooding back to haunt me.
You said good-bye, and disappeared into the sea.
Sometimes I miss you so much, I cry,
Like when I remember how you taught me to try.
Then I think how things worked out for the best, for all.
You had no choice but to answer God's call.
You're not in pain. You're well now,
And you left with such a graceful bow.
Dealing has ben so hard;
I thought surely it would break my heart,
And I guess it did in some ways.
But that saving grace
Is knowing you're happy
And together again, someday we'll be.
