Episodes

101-102 Broken Bow (2 hour pilot)
Mission date: April 16, 2151

The story is said to open with a young Jonathan Archer building a model starship with his father (who builds the SS Enterprise his son will command in later years). Following the credits, the story jumps to present day with a Klingon who crashed on Earth being chased through an Oklahoma cornfield by the Suliban, the recurring villians of the series, a deadly nomadic race obsessed with genetic enhancment... which has led to speculation of being an offshoot of Khan's people. Each Suliban will be different depending on what feature they have had enhanced. They are said to all have chameleon-like properties able to change their skin color to blend in with their surroundings.) Archer is ordered to return the Klingon to his homeworld of Qo'nos despite objections of Earth's new allies, the Vulcans, who have been supervising Earth's exploration of the galaxy after first contact.
Archer and a hastily pulled together crew including an alien doctor, a Japanese multi-lingual comm officer, and a Vulcan science officer/supervisor head off in the SS Enterprise to do so - the first ship capable of Warp Five (100 times faster than any other human ship). Not far into the mission the Suliban, lead by a creature named 'Silik' who himself is taking orders from an unknown power in another time, attacks and kidnaps the Klingon - forcing the crew to find where they've taken him and why do they so desperately want him back in their clutches. Along the way they'll visit an exotic alien underground marketplace, fly through the liquid atmosphere of a gas giant, and learn space can be a very dangerous place.

Quotations: (The Enterprise is under attack. Archer and Sato are trying to talk, but the Klingon is shouting in Klingon, annoying them both.) Archer: "Do you wanna tell him to shut up?" Sato: "Shut up!"

103 Fight or Flight
Mission date: May 6, 2151

The Enterprise encounters a derelict ship floating in space. The crew of the ship is found suspended from hooks, with all fluids being drained from their body. It turns out that they have been killed by another alien race that is trying to extract "tri-globulin" from their bodies.
When Archer realises that the alien race who did this may return, Phlox points out that the human body produces a similar substance - an ominous implication. After what were described as some good, very tense scenes between Archer and T'Pol, the Vulcan first officer manages to convince him that there is nothing to be done. Of course, eventually the aliens do return, meaning Hoshi Sato has to find a way to communicate with them to avoid the destruction of the Enterprise. 'Fight or Flight' was described as a good, somewhat creepy episode.

104 Strange New World
Mission date: Unknown

This is the episode in which the crew encounter what they believe to be a friendly, uninhabited alien world, but that turns out to be far more dangerous than they ever expected. The crew members that visit the planet are infected by an alien pollen that induces hallucinations and paranoia.
This episode will again feature some of the tension between T'Pol and the rest of the crew, as she is suspected of being in secret contact with the hostile aliens on the planet. 'Strange New World' will also showcase the unreliability of the early transporters, as a crewman is beamed back with debris embedded in his body.

105 Unexpected
Mission date: Unknown

This apparently "very funny" episode will feature the male pregnancy first mentioned by Rick Berman in the recent TV Guide interview. 'Unexpected' opens when malfunctions start to occur on the Enterprise, and the crew notice an alien ship hiding in their exhaust wake. It turns out that the aliens are there to recharge their ship to try and get home. The Enterprise engineer, Charlie 'Trip' Tucker, goes over to the aliens to help them repair their ship - but unwittingly becomes pregnant in the process!
Trip manages to fix the ship, and it departs. Once the crew figure out that Trip is indeed pregnant, they try to track down the aliens, and find them hiding in the slipstream of a Klingon ship. The Klingons are not at all receptive to Captain Archer and threaten to destroy both the alien ship and the Enterprise. For a change, T'Pol helps Archer resolve the situation, and the Klingons agree to leave the aliens unharmed - if they agree to trade some primitive holo-technology.

Quotations:Dr. Phlox to Trip: "I'm not sure if congratulations are in order, but you're pregnant."

106 Terra Nova
Mission date: Unknown

When the crew alters course to explore a deserted Earth colony called Terra Nova, they come face to face with the colony's human descendents who have evolved in a surprising manner. This will probably be the first episode Levar Burton directs.

107 The Andorian Incident
Mission date: Unknown

A militant faction of Andorians attack a Vulcan meditation Monastery because they believe that the Vulcan's are hiding a long range sensor array there to spy on the Andorians. Enterprise is in the general vicinity and decides to drop in for a visit at a most inopportune time. Directed by Roxann Dawson ("Voyager") and guest starring Jeffrey Coombs ("DS9") as Shran.

I don't remember their exact words, but this was the first time in Star Trek history that we heard a captain ask his first officer to come to bed with him. (Not counting the time Janeway and Chakotay spent stranded on the planet with the hottub that Chakotay made...)

The crew decide they want to study this planet's culture, and an away team has its appearance altered to resemble the alien population and blend in easily. But after they are on the planet, they are drawn into a deadly mystery that has already cost the lives of several locals. Archer enjoys a flirtation with a female alien.

110 Fortunate Son
Mission date: Unknown

The Enterprise encounters an Earth cargo ship. When the cargo vessel is attacked, its middle-aged commander, Captain Keene, is seriously wounded. The ship's command is then assumed by its first officer, Ryan Cross, a man around 30 years of age who has spent his entire life on cargo ships. Tension arises in the Enterprise's interaction with the cargo ship, as the hostile Cross distrusts Archer and his crew. Levar Burton may direct this episode.

111 Cold Front
Mission date: Unknown

(Said to feature the return of the Suliban leader Silik and his mysterious commander from the future.) Unlike during their first encounter, Silik actually helps Archer, preventing the destruction of the Enterprise for unknown reasons. It also turns out that an Enterprise crew member is actually from the future, sent back to the 22nd Century to stop Silik and find out who is giving the Suliban orders.

112 Silent Enemy
Mission date: Sept. 1, 2151

An unknown ship trails the Enterprise, not responding to any attempts to communicate. Completely outclassed, Archer orders the Enterprise to return to Jupiter to install the cannons that Starfleet was unable to install because of the ship's swift departure to Qo'noS. But even as the ship rushed back to Jupiter, Tucker and Reed work overtime to try and install the weapons themselves and get some kind of defense against the alien ship, which is continuing its stealth attacks.

113 Dear Doctor
Mission date: Unknown

Rumoured to feature the Enterprise encountering the planet Valakis, containing a pre-warp civilisation inhabited by two alien races. The planet suffers from an unknown disease that is killing the population, and Captain Archer quickly agrees to help find a cure. But when the aliens also ask for the secret of warp technology he is not so sure, and finally begins to realise the Vulcans may also have been right in not giving humans warp technology. Also rumoured to feature a romance for Dr. Phlox with Ensign Cutler (the female ensign in the episode Strange New World).

When Enterprise comes across a wounded Klingon vessel, T'Pol, Hoshi, and Reed take a shuttle pod down to investigate. There they are ambushed by a hostile female Klingon who hijacks the shuttle pod, leaving the Enterprise crewmembers dangerously stranded on the Klingon vessel. 115 Shadows of P'Jem
Mission date: Unknown

Archer and the crew are disappointed to discover that T'Pol has been ordered by the Vulcan High Command to leave the Enterprise - and equally frustrated at her seeming indifference to leaving their ranks. T'Pol's last mission as a Starfleet officer, however, proves eventful when she and Archer are kidnapped by a militant faction on an alien planet and find themselves once again at the mercy of the volatile Andorians.

116 Shuttlepod One
Mission date: Nov. 9, 2151

Rumoured to feature Tucker and Reed stranded in a shuttlepod when they return from a mission - only to find Enterprise apparently destroyed. Also said to focus heavily on Reed's character.
