Definitions

Okay probably throught this whole web site (if your a beginner) you were probably thinking what the heck certain words and sayings mean, well this is the page to come to if you were wondering about some of the difinitions.

Banishing Magick: Using your will to make something go away.

Book Of Shadows: A collection of spiritual lessons, spells, magickal rules, and other information that is wrote down as a reference book.

Ceremony Of Initiation: A ceremony of honor conducted by by a group or alone welcoming themselves or others into the craft.

Ivocation: The process of inviting the Lord and Lady to enter your your circle and join in the ritual.

Magickal Circle: Powerful sacred space that represents Wiccan holy ground or Wiccan temple.

Magickal Correspondances: Items, objects, days, colors, moon phases, oils, angels, herbs etc... used in ritual/spells that match the intent of your magickal workings.

Manifesting Magick: Using your will to make something happen.

Planetary Hours: A system of hourly division associated with the planetary energies.

Ritual Purification: The practice of cleansing the body and mind prior to performing a ritual.

Spirit:  The over all energy that runs the universe in a harmonious way.

I got some of the difinitions out of Sliver RavenWolfs Book-Teen Witch-some of the definitions I would have made too complicated for you to understand that is why I took them out of her book.  Not word for word of coarse..I don't think anyways:)
