RITUALS

Basic Ritual

1.  Do the altar devotion, which consitsts of cleansing and consecrating any items on the altar in the name of the Lady and Lord.  The energies are the mixed together and blessed to create a point of power. This is done metaly as well as physicaly.
2.  Create your sacred space-create a circle...call in all of the elements individualy Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. Most witches request a Blessing silently but it is not needed, but it helps. This also is done physicaly as well as mentaly.
3.  Calling the quaters starting at North, East, South and West (respectivly) and invite the energies of the elements into your circle.  Blessings and assistance are usually requested verbally at this time.  This is done physically  as well as mentally.
4.  Ivoke the God or Goddess (or may be both if the occassion calls for it
