Ronan tour - 27th October, Birmingham N.E.C 2000
On Friday 27th october I went to see Ronan and it was absolutley brilliant!! He didn't need the other ladz (although we do miss them don't we guyz?) cos he kept the audience dancing and most of them singing along too.

Me and mom started out of the house at around 5:45pm so we could get to Birmingham Synphony hall at about 6:45pm as it takes about an hour to get there by car from where I live! We arrived and we parked the car not knowing where the Symphony Hall was we followed the crowds of Ronan fanz who were really excited like me!! :o) As we walked through the doors it was not very packed inside as we were quite early. I queued up to buy a programme and then to buy t-shirt which I then changed into!! The doors weren't opening for a while so me and my mom sat down and looked through the programme, the pictures are sooooo GORGEOUS btw!!!! Soon after the doors opened and we were able to go to our seats!! We were on the second balcony at the back (there were 3 balconys!) but we could see fine as the hall is soooooooooooooooooo tiny!!! I couldn't believe it, I usually go to concerts at the B'ham N.E.C and thats really big compared to the Symphony Hall! We had to wait AGES and AGES until the show actually started! I thought the 2 supports bands were ok but I dont think I really like that Emmie shes erm.....weird! *lol* I thought Taylor Caine were excellent though! Then there was a 15 minute interval which was soooo boring! It was WAY too long and I was definately too excited to be waiting so I sat and read my programme!!! Then the lights went off the girls stood up and the screaming started!!! I didn't see Ronan and I wondered why everyone was looking behind them on the floor so I popped my head round and there stood RO at the back of the room he walked through the audience to go onto the stage (oh i was soooo jelous of the people on the floor!) People were able to hug him and shake his hand it was UNBELIEVEABLE!!! When Ronan finally got onto the stage he was jumping about and everything I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER EVER seen him soooooo hyper in all my life he went a bit over the top my mom said but I thought he looked fine (as always aye!!) He started off the show with 'Heal me' and the crowd was soooooooooooooo LOUD that you couldn't hear Ronan!! Of course I was part of that! *lol* My mom wasnt too keen on all the shouting and screaming but she doesn't understand does she!! *lol* After that he sang about another 4 or 5 songs from his album (I can't remember exactly which ones and how many cos I was too busy looking at Ro's SEXY short blonde hair and wonderful big blue eyes) I know he did sing 'in this life' and when he sang  'in this life i was loved by u' he pointed to the audience! *lol* He then got changed and whilst he was off everyone was chanting Ronan Ronan Ronan *lol* It was MAAAAD! He then came back on stage and the 'Box' from the Boyzone By Request concert came down and the same music was played of course everyone recognised this and went mad again! He pulled a face as if to say aye? wots this! Then walked to it opened it and a large ray of light shone out of it!! He then pulled the original COWBOY hat out and wore it like everyone else in the audience!!! Then he sang 'Picture of you' and then spoke to us again! It was a very special moment as he was going to sing 'Father and Son' and said very touching things, he also explained why he was singing Boyzone songs and that they were his fave to perform live! So then he sang it and suddenly became very emotional (aaaaawwwww) along with the rest of the audience!! he then sang 'Baby can I hold you' when he sang this on the verse where its says 'I love you' he pointed to the audience and everyone went maaaaad! and he walked over to the box and put the cowboy hat away and everyone went owwwwwwwwwww Ro!! *lol* I thought that was weird as its a Ro concert not a BZ concert! he then sang a few more songs from his album and also sang 'Whiskey in the jar' and 'ADDICTED' and boy was he pulling some sexy dance steps *lol* After that he sang a new song which will be on his NEW album out 2001 but you couldn't really hear him as the band seemed to be drowning him out!!! Then he sang 'Life is a Rollercoaster' and the highlight of the evening was when he pulled up his jacket and stuck his BUM right into the crowd *lol* and the whole hall stood up and was dancing and singing and screaming!!!  Then it came to the last song which was  'The long goodbye' which he wrote with Paul Brady. He then said the famous Ronan words 'goodluck' and 'god bless ya' several times and dissapeared of stage!! The crowd then started to walk off with massive grins on their faces and so did we!!!! This was one of the BEST concerts I have EVER been to!!!!!!!!!!
THE END.....until his next concert OF COURSE!!
