On 17th May 2001 I went to see Ronan in concert again at the Birmingham NEC.

I was really looking forward to it because I had got 5th row seats in the aisle so I thought to myself, if Ronan shakes hands with the people on the front row I could run down the aisle and grab his hand! I was later to be proved....*read on*

The show was very much the same as the Wembley concert apart from he seemed to say more to the audience, I dont know why maybe it was because he was less nervous or maybe he never thought at Wembley! *hehe*
Before the show started, I had to sit through the support act again who was 'Fixate' but it didnt seem that bad because Paul *the sexy one* waved at me!! I was like WOW! *lol* soon enough though the lights went out and it was Ronans turn...

Ro kicked the show off by walking through the "electric" audience singing 'Heal me' he did this brilliantly and got through much quicker than he did at Wembley! Unfortunately he didnt walk anywhere near me and I was rather gutted, but hey the chair is there to stand on isn't it? *lol*

The show was absolutley brilliant and was going by soo quickly I couldnt believe it!!
The highlight of the show for me was when he sang 'The way you make me feel' because he walked off the stage during this song and held hands with the audience, I wasnt too sure whether to run to the front or not because I know what the security is like at the NEC, but suddenly this girl ran down the left side of the security men so they both jumped up to move her, so I ran down the right side and grabbed onto Ronans arm, he was wearing his leathers which made it extra special, I tell you that leather jacket is SOO soft, it must of cost LOADS! anyway as I was holding his arm I was like what shall I do now? so I felt it all the way down *well who wouldnt?* I think he was holding the top of my arm but I cant be sure because the stupid security man yanked me back *grrr* and made me go back to my seat, I was in total shock and suddenly burst into tears! *lol*

It didnt seem long after that, that he was singing the Boyzone songs again, he was joined by his backing singers Janet and Jo who did a brilliant job of helping Ro out, as always!

Ro sang two new songs during the show which will be on his American Album they were called 'Someday' and 'Like the way we do it' they are really upbeat and really get the audicne to their feet!! Especially 'Like the way we do it' it sends the girls MAD!

Of course when Ronan sang 'Lovin' each day' he was being very suggestive again!! *GO RONAN* and the screams when he sang this were defening!!

Throughout the show it seemed that Ronan kept looking at me! I had my glittery horns on and the light was right on me but I didnt expect him to be looking at me!! At one point he stared at me and I started to edge backwards, it was really freaky! *lol* and I totally messed up the words to the song, I bet he thought oh dear wot an eejit!

As on the previous show Ronan flew over the audience again onto the smaller stage at the back to sing Blurs 'Tender' - he does this SO brilliantly! Of course everyone at the front stood on their chairs to see him at the back of the arena. Before Ronan started singing he was talking to the back of the hall saying that he wanted everyone to have a good view at the concert, which I think is sooo nice! Of course he asked us at the front whether we minded looking at his bum and of course we said no *who wouldnt?* as he was singing 'Tender' he kept lifting his shirt up at the back for us to look at his perfectly formed ass! *lol* and of course we went MAD! soon enough though Ronan had finished singing 'Tender' and it was time for him to return to the original stage to sing 'The long goodbye' and to say thankyou to the fanz!! *YAY*

Soon enough though Ronan has vanished off the stage and the lights came on *all too soon though* the fanz slowly started to move out of the arena and go home!

This was the best concert EVER, it was even better than Wembley arena, because Ronan seemed to talk to the fanz more and I touched him!! *woooo* lol
