Murdered May 31st 1998
*Stacey was found laying dead in a neighbor's yard on the evening of May 31st 1998
*Stacey was only 14 at the time of his death
*There was no police response to the scene
*The ambulance crew reported that stacey had been shot in the head
*The police report statement listed a gunshot wound to the chest ( there is not a bullet hole anywhere in Stacey's shirt )
*The police ruled that Stacey had been accidently shot by an 11 year old playmate
*The 11 year old boy tested negative for gun powder residue
*Stacey was alledged ( by Kentucky Police ) to have been shot in the 11 year old boy's trailer home by the 11 year old boy
*Neither the trailer or the surrounding was secured as a crime scene
*The trailer was cleaned by the 11 year old boy's family the day following Stacey's death
*The 11 year olds family was friends with a Kentucky Police Detective
*No autopsy has ever been performed ( although there was a report issued) this has also been confirmed by the John Walsh Show America's Most Wanted
*Stacey's death certificate was not available to the family for two years
ISSUES TO BE DEALT WITH
*Conflicting stories between police and paramedics
*There is a possibility that Stacey was executed
*Stacey's upper body was badly bruised, he had a cut on his chin and what looks like bruises on his arms from being held down ( I have personally seen these pictures)
*There was little police detective work or follow-up done
*There was no Autopsy done
*There was no follow-up on other suspects and no suspects were listed in the Police Reports
*There were no ballisticts tests conducted and there is a possibility that a different weapon had been used ( other than the 22 Caliber that the police say was the weapon used )
*There is possible police cover-up in the case with all of those that were involved in the legal system
*The local counsel was and still is unwilling to persue legal remedy and persue Justice in all matters relating to the death of Larry Lee Stacey Hughes
HELP NEEDED
*To obtain all answers as to who is responsible for Stacey's Death
*For such person or person's to be brought to Justice
*To seek adequate legal counsel and a legal remedy against all parties involved in possible cover-up
*To raise enough money to have Stacey's body exumed and have an
Autopsy done
