POTPOURRI A mixture of the parts of my life
	I go to school during the day. I attend Austin Peay State University, otherwise known as APSU, which is located in my home town of Clarksville, TN. I am a Business major, with a concentration in Marketing. More importantly, I am a SENIOR, and I am due to graduate this Spring, May 9, 2003! I am so excited, I just can not wait. I graduated from Clarksville High School in 1995, so this has most certainly been a long time coming. After graduation, I plan on continuing my studies at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, where I plan on getting my masters. After that, I would like to go work in the Marketing Department for the Tennessee Titans. It's just a dream, but how will I know if I can get the job if I don't try.
	I work on the weekends for O'Charley's on Riverside Drive. I have now been working there for almost four years. I am mainly a bartender and a cocktail, but I can do anything in the front of the house, and I have occasionally worked as an assistant dining room manager. Bartending is probably my favorite because I get to make all kinds of drinks, which can be really fun! I also enjoy when I get to manage because I get to go around to all the tables and talk to everyone, and I love to talk, just ask anyone who knows me. I love working there, but I can't wait to graduate so that I no longer have to work on my feet constantly. I've considered going to work for the corporate side of O'Charley's, even if only to gain experience, after graduation. After all, not only do I own stock in the company, but I have invested a few years of my life in the company already.
	I love hanging out with my friends. Whether it be talking over a cup of coffee or dancing at a party, we still know how to have a good time. Spending time with my friends is very important to me. I like to be there for them when they are going through tough times, and celebrate with them when things are going good. The great thing about my friends is that they are there for me in the same way that I am for them. I have no idea what I would do without them, nor I do I know where I would be right now if it weren't for them. I feel like friends and family are the most important things in life you can have, and everything else, well, it's all just gravy, baby.
	Shopping is something I would have to say that I am addicted to. I love to go to the mall whether it be for shoes, clothes, or anything else. My mom and I like to go shopping together as a way to spend time together. Every summer, we plan a two day shopping trip. We get up early the first morning and head up to Nashville so that we can go to Oprymills. I love to go there because of all the good prices. That night we stay in a hotel,we play games and talk. The next morning we go to Cool Springs Galleria. What I like about this mall is all of the specialty and major department stores. My mom is my favorite person to go shopping with because we have so much fun, so this trip is perfect for us.
	I am a big fan of watching television. I love to turn on the tube and watch one of my favorite TV shows. I also love to watch sports on ESPN, just about any kind, and Soapnet. Now, that last one is a little embarrassing to admit to, all my friends tease me about it, but what can I say, I enjoy watching soap operas. Plus, watching soaps is a great way to get away from real life, because they are definitely way out there. Anyway, watching TV is absolutely one of my favorite ways to pass time. I almost always have it on, I even sleep with it on! I live by myself, so the noise breaks the silence and makes me feel more comfortable being there alone.
	Cooking is something I really enjoy doing. A lot of people consider it to be a chore, but I don't understand why. I consider the dishes you have to do afterwards the chore! I love to make the dishes my mom taught me, and I also enjoy making up my own recipes. All my friends really LOVE my lasagna! I also like to occasionally turn on Food TV and check out some of their recipes. Maybe the reason I like cooking so much is because I love to eat. You could never look at me and tell that eating is another one of my favorite ways to pass time. Good thing I can eat and watch TV at the same time!
	I am definitely a bath person, I have been ever since I was a child. I would pick a bath over a shower any day. I just love to sit back and melt into a good, warm, bubble bath. I have all different kinds bubble bath scents from Bath and Body Works, and I choose which ever one it is that suits my mood at the moment. I also have this spa mat, which blows thousands of bubbles of air up at the same time. It is so relaxing and massaging. Plus, the mat is the soft kind, not one of those hard ones, and it comes with a remote control to adjust the speed and timer. After a night of cramming for a test, I like to light a candle, turn on the bathroom heater, and soak in the tub.
	Last, but definitely not least, I just like to sit back and RELAX, or TAKE IT EASY. There is nothing like just lying on the couch and kicking my feet up. Another way I like to relax is to drive down to Cheatham Dam and just stare out at the water. Unfortunately, this is the one pass time I don't have much time for. Maybe that is why I enjoy it so much. Of course, if I did it all the time, then it would become really boring, along with myself, and I wouldn't appreciate it near as much!
