'n Easy Strawberry Pie
2/3 C boiling
water
1 pkg.
JELL-O strawberry gelatin
1/2 C cold
water
ice cubes
1-8 oz.
tub Cool-whip
1 graham
cracker crumb crust
Strawberry
slices
Stir in boiling water in a large bowl for at least 2 minutes. Mix cold water and ice cubes to measure 3/4 C. Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened. Remove remaining ice. Stir in Cool-whip with wire whisk until smooth. Chill 15-20 minutes.
Spoon into
crust. Refrigerate for 4 hours. Top with strawberries.
My husband
really loves this pie! He'd eat the entire thing if I let him:)
Buck-eyes
1 C creamy peanut butter
1/2 C butter (1 stick)
16 oz. Confectionery sugar
Chocolate pieces
Take off your rings, for this is a hand mixing one! Mix peanut butter, butter, and sugar together. Chill for appx. 15 - 20 minutes.
Roll into small balls and chill for appx. 1 hour.
Melt chocolate in sauce pan. Dip balls into chocolate with a toothpick. Chill.
Pumpkin Layer Cheesecake
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) creame cheese,
softened
1/2 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 C canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Dash of ground cloves and nutmeg
1 ready to use graham cracker
crumb crust ( 9 in)
MIX: cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on med. speed until well blended. Agg eggs; mix until blended. Remove 1 C of batter and set aside. Pour remaining batter into crust.
STIR pumpkin and spices into the 1 cup of the batter. Top plain with pumpkin batter.
BAKE at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until center
is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Makes
8 servings.
This receipe is very "sweet" so a little
slice goes a long way:)
