| We have all seen this work-in-progress and if you are like me you had to wipe the drool off your keyboard! This version of the Castle displays it's wonderful versatility and adaptability to various palettes. Despite the seeming complexity of colors, Beth did not change very much to achieve the effect she wanted. All she altered was the greens in the dragon's scales, leaving the blues, golds, and purple as they were originally designs. She has gone a step beyond and added an extraordinary amount of "sparklies"! |

| Here is the list of metallics stitched over the floss: Prism P-1 (clear rainbow) for all the windows in the castle. She stitched it over the lighted windows and used it against the fabric in place of the window stitches for the dark windows. This was also used on the dragon over the 677 and over 775/928 combination (in the belly and wing). Prism P-11 (dark gold) on the dragon over the 972/677 combination. Prism P-12 (lighter gold) on the dragon over the 676, 729, and 3045. Prism P-2 (darker pinkish-gold) on the dragon over the 498/321 combonation. Prism P-3 (orange red) on the dragon over the 666/606 combonation. Prism P-9 (orange) on the dragon over the 608/970 combination. Prism P-8 (brassy orange) on the dragon over the 971/972 combination. Prism P-19 (dark purple) on the dragon over the 315/3041 combination. Prism P-18 over 927/932 in the belly and wing of the dragon. Accentuate 038 (dark blue) the 792 in the eye. Accentuate 307 (meduim blue) over the 792 in the ear, tail, and foot streamers. Accentuate 011 (light lavender) over 211. Accentuate 308 (light violet) over 554. Accentuate 037 over 926/931 in the water. Accentuate 306 over 927/932 in the water. Accentuate 033 over 503/927 in the water. Accentuate 301 over 775/928 in the water. Sulky Metallic 145-8052 over 924/930 in the belly and wing. Sulky Metallic 145-8017 over 926/931 in the belly and wing. Beth has added Mill Hill beads in the "sky" of the fabric, as well as reflections of the mountains in the water using DMC 3041/931. |
