"A Midsummer Night's Fairy"
These are my conversions for Pink Middy. The original colors are on the left, and the conversions are on the right. Keep in mind the skin is stitched over one, so I have made the appropriate changes.

These are the converstions for Stretch, whom I named Sunfire. I did not need to convert all the colors. The original colors are on the left and the conversions are on the right. I have hightlighted all the colors I used in red.
In the border, I added Mill Hill petite Victorian Gold beads.

One of the things I enjoy doing with cross stitch patterns is taking them and completely transforming the color palettes. This provides a whole different feel to a piece, and it also enables me to stitch whatever I want without fear that it just "won't go" in my house. It also satisfies that creative artist within, although I see all cross stitch pieces, whether in their original states or altered, as artitstic masterpieces.
I have had many people ask me for conversions of my pieces, and it is with great joy that I am able to share this page with you. Please feel free to use these conversions as you wish.
If you come up with any conversions of your own, I would love it if you would share them with me. Perhaps one day this page can become a community of color changes, and not just mine alone!
