Yay!! This is my very first completed Mirabilia, and I was so happy when I finished it! I did the Happy Dance all over the living room as soon as the very last bead was stitched in place!
She is stitched on 18 count white Aida, and was one of my very first large projects.
This was a Mother's Day present for my Mom. I think the lovliest moment was when she asked me how I could bear to part with it, and I told her I had picked it out just for her. Needless to say, she was thrilled.
If you ever doubt giving one of your needlework projects as a gift, don't...the reward of a shining, smiling face is worth every stitch.=)
