Like
all dogs, the Stafford will passionately defend its
family from physical harm, conversely, uninterested
in worldly possessions,
he
will gladly show any burglar your best silver or
jewellery. A Stafford as an effective guard dog,
never, assuming all human
intentions
are honest intentions is sometimes the downfall of
the breed.
Whilst
generally not the initial challenger of a tussle,
the Staff can certainly end a battle promptly,
with
a voracious and ferocious appetite, and normally the
victor. To see this breed prosper, in our limited
time as guardians of the breed,
we
need to educate & re-educate the general public,
whether it be at a dog show or walking down the
street. The greatest disservice we
can
do to the breed is tolerate dogs with bad
temperaments towards people, unfortunately the cross
breeds generally have the
market
of this offence.
A
Stafford that has been bought up with other animals
will foster a fierce eternal friendship.
A
well adapted Stafford is a pleasure to own.
The
character trait of a Stafford's temperament is
strong, how many times have you noticed other family
pets,
slowly
transform its temperament to that of a Stafford?
