HAVE YOU BEEN SAVED?

Stage Eight

Once we have responded in faith to the preaching of the word, repented of our sins and been baptized by water and the Spirit,we must continue to work out (our) own salvatin with fear and trembling " (Philippians 2:12 )This dose not mean that we stand before God fully expecting to bear the brunt of divine anger

Rather,it means that know who we are in relationship to God,that God is the loving creator and we are the creation that looks to God for our live, our sustenance and our salvation.knowing this we seek to submitourselves to tje will of God,to follow the plan of salvation that god intends for us.

Jesus Himself has taught us,not eeryone who says to me, "Lord,Lord, will enter the kingdome of Heaven but only the one who does the will of my father in heaven' (Mathew 7:21 ).True people of faith are those who not only have received the Good News and be baptized but who also work out their salvation in fear and trembling by seeking to do father's will and that Jesus has commanded.
