HAVE YOU BEEN SAVED?

Stage Nine

Another necessary step in the process af salvation is to take partake of the Eucharist.Jesus has told us that :unless you eat theflesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you have no life in you. Those who eat My flesh and drink my blood have eternal life and i will raise them up on the last day" (John 653:54 )

Many of Jesus disciples left Him because they found this teaching too difficult to accept (See John 6:60)We do ,indeed, eat and drink of the body and blood of Christ in the Eucharist. To partake of bread and wine in the memory of Jesus come alive in us by the reception of His life into ours.

In every celebration of the Eucharist,we glimpse all at once Jesus Dying in glory. As paul tells us, "For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup,you proclaim the Lord's death drink the cup,you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes" (1 Corinthians 11:26 )
