A Little Background ...
My name is Terri Shayn Meyer Cooper - I am the oldest daughter of Jane Cravens - the oldest grandchild of Arden and June Stevens, the oldest Great Grandchild of Everett and HelenStahl and the oldest Great Great Grandchild of William Augustus Stahl - I could go on and on ... it's really easy to remember our ancestors - we have a line of 4 William Stahls (William Everett, William Augustus, etc.) and then 3 Henry Stahls. I started researching our family genealogy when I was 12 years old, and spent quite a bit of time in the Seneca County (Fostoria) library - they have an extensive genealogical room that was a haven for me as a teenager.
I am a Gymnastics Director in Louisville - this is my 15th year coaching. My career has taken our family from Columbus, Ohio to Palm Springs, California and now Kentucky. I am happily married to the most incredible husband in the world, Dan Cooper, and we have 3 great kids! Arden Shayn, 6, is in gymnastics and soccer, and attends 1st grade at Tully Elementary School - and her team is having an incredible season as well. They are 14-2 currently, and have two more games this week to play. So if you see these two names on the Olympic roster one day - you can say, hey I'm related to that girl!
