November: Jericho loses the TV Title to Konnan.
1999:
July: The WWF begins airing a Millenium Clock, there is speculation
that Jericho will be the Millenium Man in the WWF
August: Jericho debuts in the WWF, doing a classic Jericho interview
and interrupting many of the top WWF stars.
September: Jericho makes his WWF PPV debut, beating X-Pac.
December: Jericho defeats Chyna for the WWF Intercontinental Title.
2000:
January: Due to a controversial double pin, the Intercontinental belt
is left vacant, until it was ruled that both Chyna and Jericho were co-holders
of the belt.
February: Jericho beats Chyna and Hardcore Holly to become the undisputed
Intercontinental Champion.
March: Jericho loses the Intercontinental belt to Kurt Angle.
April: Jericho beats Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle in a two falls Triple
Threat match to win the WWF European Championship. He loses the belt a
day later to Eddy Guerrero.
May: Jericho beats Chris Benoit for the Intercontinental Title, then
loses it several days later to Benoit. Jericho loses a submission match
to Benoit at the Judgement Day PPV after he passed out from a Crippler
Crossface.
Summer: Jericho enters into an extended feud with Triple H.
2001:
January: Jericho beats Chris Benoit at the Royal Rumble in a ladder
match for his fourth Intercontinental Title.
February: Jericho defends the IC title at No Way Out in a four-corners
match against X-Pac, Chris Benoit and Eddy Guerrero. Jericho retains after
pinning X-Pac.
April: Jericho pins William Regal at Wrestlemania X-7.
