Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho never competed in the Stampede region, but is considered to be part of the Stampede legacy. He trained with Stu Hart in the Dungeon and was scheduled to debut in Stampede shortly after it folded in 1989.
Jericho is the son of hockey star Ted Irvine and is one of the most talented microphone workers in the business. He has an entertaining, if arrogant, demeanor and always turns in a great performance. His stardom comes from a long and successful stint in WCW and now in the WWF, and he has also competed in ECW as well as Japan and Mexico.

November: Jericho wrestles in Mexico for the first time

1993:
January: Jericho wins the Canadian Heavyweight belt from former Stampede worker Biff Wellington
February: Jericho loses the title to Jason the Terrible.
April: Jericho begins wrestling in the Mexican federation, the EMLL.
July: Jericho and El Dandy beat Texano and Silver King for the WWA Tag Team Championship.
September: Jericho and Dandy lose the titles to Texano and Silver King. Begins wrestling for the CWA in Europe.
December: Jericho wins the NWA Middleweight Belt from Mano Negra.

1994:
January: Jericho wins the Canadian Mid-Heavyweight Title from Steve Rivers.
February: Jericho loses the title to Lance Storm. Begins wrestling for WAR in Japan.
November: Jericho drops the NWA Middleweight Belt to Ultimo Dragon.

1995:
December: Jericho loses to Wild Pegasus (Chris Benoit) in the second round of the Super-J Cup
February: Jericho debuts for the ECW.
June: Jericho beats Gedo for the International Junior Heavyweight Championship.
July: Jericho loses the belt to Ultimo Dragon.

1996:
February: Jericho teams with Gedo to win the International Junior Heavyweight Tag Championship from Lance Storm and Yuji Yasuraoka.
March: They lose the titles back to Storm and Yasuraoka.
June: Jericho appears at Antonio Inoki's wrestling peace festival, facing Bam Bam Bigelow and Konnan. Jericho beats ECW TV Champion Pitbull 2 for the title.
July: Jericho drops the TV Title to Shane Douglas.

1997:
May-June: Jericho competes in New Japan's Top of the Junior tournament. He places third.
June: Jericho beats Syxx for his first WCW Cruiserweight Title.
July: Jericho loses the title to Alex Wright.
August: Jericho regains the title from Wright for his second reign.
September: Jericho drops the title to Eddy Guerrero.

1998:
January: Jericho wins the Cruiserweight Title for the third time, beating Rey Mysterio Jr.
May: Jericho loses the title to Dean Malenko.
June: Jericho beats Malenko for his fourth reign.
July: Jericho loses the title to Rey Mysterio Jr. It is returned to him a day later on a rules loophole, starting his fifth reign.
August: Jericho loses the title to Juventud Guerrera. Two days later, he beats Stevie Ray, who was defending the title on behalf of his brother, Booker T, for the WCW TV Title.
November: Jericho loses the TV Title to Konnan.

1999:
July: The WWF begins airing a Millenium Clock, there is speculation that Jericho will be the Millenium Man in the WWF
August: Jericho debuts in the WWF, doing a classic Jericho interview and interrupting many of the top WWF stars.
September: Jericho makes his WWF PPV debut, beating X-Pac.
December: Jericho defeats Chyna for the WWF Intercontinental Title.

2000:
January: Due to a controversial double pin, the Intercontinental belt is left vacant, until it was ruled that both Chyna and Jericho were co-holders of the belt.
February: Jericho beats Chyna and Hardcore Holly to become the undisputed Intercontinental Champion.
March: Jericho loses the Intercontinental belt to Kurt Angle.
April: Jericho beats Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle in a two falls Triple Threat match to win the WWF European Championship. He loses the belt a day later to Eddy Guerrero.
May: Jericho beats Chris Benoit for the Intercontinental Title, then loses it several days later to Benoit. Jericho loses a submission match to Benoit at the Judgement Day PPV after he passed out from a Crippler Crossface.
Summer: Jericho enters into an extended feud with Triple H.

2001:
January: Jericho beats Chris Benoit at the Royal Rumble in a ladder match for his fourth Intercontinental Title.
February: Jericho defends the IC title at No Way Out in a four-corners match against X-Pac, Chris Benoit and Eddy Guerrero. Jericho retains after pinning X-Pac.
April: Jericho pins William Regal at Wrestlemania X-7.
    Jericho loses the Intercontinental Title to Triple-H.
    Jericho loses to William Regal at Backlash in a "Duchess of Queensbury" match.
May: Jericho beats William Regal at Insurrextion, an UK only PPV.
    Jericho and Benoit win a seven-team gauntlet match at Judgement Day, last pinning Edge and Christian.
    Jericho forms a tag team with Benoit and beat Steve Austin and Triple H for the WWF Tag Team Titles
    Jericho beats the Big Show for the WWF Hardcore title, then immediately loses it to Rhyno.
June: Jericho and Benoit face WWF Champ Steve Austin in the main event at King of the Ring
