Monday

A CURSE ON BUILDERS

Report claims,
"Difficult tennant.
We can't contact."

She scowls,
"Some hide!
He never arrived."

"Five times
I waited,
Grew agitated."

Inspector tuts
"Not done.
Bare minimum."

Tennant not
Only one
To curse

Lazy, lying
Inept, skiving
Builders

Tuesday

Darkened eyes
Tentative grip

Stubborn flint
Igniting passion

Crimson steel
Sculpted fervor

Azure bound
Sinuous weld

Friday

RED SOCKS

Reflexively, I grasp the regulation whites
Radiant under relentless illumination

Realisation slices my heart in the jagged light
Regulations no longer apply
Restraint no longer necessary

Reaching out, I snatch with glee
Red socks, exultant triumphant
Replacements for rejected
Regulation whites
